Hands down by far the best curry in Amersham, by quite some distance. We have lived here for more than 20 years, and since Mughal opened, have enjoyed this exquisite restaurant and take away. Really really good. Had delivery for family yesterday, and it urged me to write a review, something I very rarely do. Chicken Shashlik, Lamb Buna, Saag, Onion Bajis starters and Naan all 5 *. You wont be dissapointed.

Visited the area for a birthday treat, stumbled across the gem of a place that is Mughal Palace! The food was absolutely delicious, the restaurant was so pretty and the service was outstanding, with personal anecdotes of the specials and how they were created, which we loved! I’ve eaten at Mughal Palace a few times now, and the food has been outstanding every time. The flavours are second to none, the staff are always attentive, and the atmosphere feels welcoming. I love dishes with big, bold flavours (not just heat), and I’ve found the food here absolutely divine.

Came to enjoy with family to celebrate, and we had a wonderful time! The food was bursting with flavour, and every dish was cooked to perfection. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. A truly pleasant dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a truly wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming — creating a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of rich, authentic flavour and cooked to perfection. The curries were beautifully spiced, the naan was soft and fresh, and the starters were bursting with taste. Quality experience and quality food! First time ordering here, insanely tasty Dhansak with a great mix of vegetables. Lovely sized portion and the Samosas 10/10. I got given a voucher to use if I dine in too for my next order. It is a place I will be coming back to and recommend to people if they like curry!

I came for dinner with my daughter and friends and we had such a lovely evening. The food was some of the best I’ve had, especially the butter chicken which was fantastic! The service was great, and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Overall the restaurant was very cosy charming, and we’ll definitely be coming back again :)
